Okay, it's been so long since I did one of these things. Let me start by saying it feels so good to back.
I graduated from University in English Literature and English Language.
I worked for a truck driving company for a year, where I passed my Class 2 driving test for a Heavy Goods Vehicle, and I have to say driving one of those huge machines was truly thrilling. The job on the other hand was not. The company was shocking, and I had nothing but problems with them.
I worked as an Electrical Engineers Assistant, which was even worse than my previous job with the company treating me like crap, so I was only with them for a matter of weeks before I handed in my notice there. Turns out I'm not the only person to have had a run in with them either, everyone I've spoken to about the company since have all had nothing but bad things to say about them, and not using polite words to describe them I might add.
I'm currently working as an Aurosys Assistant, which I must say is brilliant. It's not the most exciting job to describe to people, but the company is great, they know what they're doing, the people I work with are polite, and all extremely helpful, and I get more than enough time off to explore my passions.
All in all, it was a long road to get to this point, but I finally found a job I'm more than content with.
I have some great ideas that I'm going to be pursuing this year for my art, and I now have the time to get to work on them. I'm truly excited for the year to come, and I aim to make full use of the days ahead. Carpe diem my friends, carpe diem.
